Who is behind the site

A small team, independent of any larger company, runs gramhir.net. Instagram and Meta have no connection to it, and no one at either company reviews or approves the pages here. Anything about the site goes to contact@gramhir.net.

What the site is for

Most people who check a public account on Instagram have an everyday reason: a shop before an order, a venue before a booking, a creator before a collaboration, or stories you would rather watch without an account. Gramhir puts that check on one page. Type a username and you get the profile card, the past day’s stories, recent posts and reels, the highlights the owner kept, and the two account lists behind the follower counters. Any photo or video can be saved with one button.

The card describes the account as it stood when the lookup ran. Account histories are not built here, so there are no growth charts and no record of earlier counts.

What we will not do

  • Open a private profile. Instagram shows those only to people the owner accepted as followers; we make no attempt to get around that.
  • Ask you to log in, to Instagram or to anything else.
  • Record which profiles you, or anyone, looked up.
  • Store copies of the photos and videos you open.
  • Recover expired stories or posts their authors deleted.

How it works, briefly

Pressing the button makes your browser ask our service for the profile. The service obtains it from a data supplier outside the site, which reads it on Instagram, and the page then draws what came back. Photos and videos often load directly from Instagram’s image servers. The privacy page goes through who sees what on the way.
